‘Dear Gill, Claire and I reviewed Bill’s report. Firstly, please pass on our thanks to Bill that it was clear, easy to understand and thorough. We will further consider the issues Bill raised on the roof of the property which are a concern, although not something that would deflect us from our continued proposed purchase. Best regards – Paul.’

‘Dear Bill, This is to let you know that, following your report and advice, I met with the estate agents and requested a reduction of the price by £10,000. The outcome of the negotiations was that I accepted a reduction of £8,000 and I am pleased with this outcome. I would like to thank you for your work and advice that helped me reach this position. Many thanks – Graham.

“We would like to express our deepest gratitude for the survey you carried out for us on Grovelands Avenue, Hitchin. We are especially thankful for the time you spent with Alistair discussing the survey in detail over the phone. You were very clear and put the wording of the survey into easy to understand terms. Without your swift work we would have been unable to confidently go ahead with the purchase in time of the exchange deadline. We will certainly be recommending you to our friends! With kindest regards, Alistair and Hannah.”
